Maura has been dancing for 26 years. She trained at Lana's School of Dance, Dance Arts Center, Marshall Performing Arts Conservatory and was a contract dance with New Mexico Ballet Company for 11 years where she became a soloist. She teaches several styles of dance and has taught for Marshall Performing Arts Conservatory, Triple Threat Performing Arts and NDI New Mexico. Maura went to the Public Academy for Performing Arts 6th-12th grade where she was able to focus on multiple styles of dance and worked on several "Site Specific" Dance Videos with the school's film department. In the summer of 2013, Maura received a full tuition scholarship to attend the Joffrey Ballet School's Jazz/Contemporary three week intensive in New York City and trained with many stellar dancers and dance instructors. Maura more recently dances with her husband at The Dirty Bourbon Dance Hall & Saloon where they won the Country Dance Competition in November 2021.
